We had the opportunity to travel to Lewiston to sign papers to sell our house in Asotin. We took advantage of the trip to catch up with our family. We also introduced Calvin to those who have not had a chance to meet him. Calvin must not have lost “that new baby smell” because everyone was eager to hold him, giving Stacie a much deserved break. I think that Roc came out smelling like roses on this trip, he got to celebrate his birthday twice as well as Christmas. The first few days we stayed in Lewiston to visit Ryan's side of the family and Saturday night we had a birthday party for Grandma Bonnie which was a great chance to see grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We unfortunately had to leave to travel to LaGrande before the party was over but it was getting late and we to travel over Rattlesnake grade to get to LaGrande. While in LaGrande we spent time with Stacie's family, which gave us the chance to meet Jake's wife (last time we met Ashli she was Jake's girlfriend, unfortunately we were unable to attend his wedding). While in LaGrande the birthday parties continued this time Porter got into the act and we had a double birthday. After the birthday party we again had to leave before any of us wanted to but we had appointments in Medford that could not be postponed. On Saturday before we left we had the opportunity to watch one of Trayse's basketball game, it was good motivation for Roc to keep working on his basketball skills. On our travel back to Medford we made a pit stop in Canby to have dinner with Brian and Nichole. It was a great mini-vacation and we want to thank everyone for their hospitality. I do have to confess we do not have any pictures of the time we spent with Grandpa Eldon and Grandma Marilyn, unfortunately we left the camera at the hotel and by the time we remembered it was too late (most likely Ryan's fault and he is comfortable taking the blame).
